Profile: Dr. Agumasie Semahegn is a Public Health Professional who brings a blend of expertise in academic and research implementation in the field of Public Health. He has been in academia for more than a decade and he is now a Post-Doctoral Fellow at CDT-Africa. His area of interest includes Maternal, Child and Reproductive Health, poverty related Neglected Tropical Disease (NTDs), and health system research and evidence synthesis with application of implementation science principles to improve research uptake for health policy in Ethiopia.

Current position: Dr. Agumassie is a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Centre for Innovative Drug Development and Therapeutic Trials for Africa (CDT-Africa) at Addis Ababa University School of Health Sciences. He is coordinating the Unit for Health Evidence and Policy (UHEP) in Ethiopia.
