CDT-Africa, College of Health Sciences, Addis Ababa University, in collaboration with the King’s College London, Aga Khan University and Oxford University have received a four-year grant, announced today (https://www.nihr.ac.uk/explore-nihr/funding-programmes/global-health/).

The SPARK project, which is funded through the NIHR Research and Innovation for Global Health Transformation (RIGHT) scheme,  aims to implement a clinical trial of behavioural intervention for improving the lives of children with developmental disorders and their families. The implementation in Ethiopia will be in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Health.

The project will build the clinical trial capacity of CDT-Africa through a close collaboration with the Clinical Trial Unit of King’s College London, a longstanding partner of CDT-Africa.
